Although the “Friday Nights” Downtown Music Series and the “Sounds of Summer” Music Series have come to an end this year, the fall festivities are just gearing up.
Saturday, September 8th we are starting the day with the Clinton River Clean-Up from 8:30am-12:30pm at River Woods Park. Beginning at noon that day, at Civic Center Park, is the 16th Annual Parade of Stars Bluegrass Festival which will feature four nationally known bands including: Lou Reid and Carolina, Skip Cherryholmes Quintet, Cats and The Fiddler and The Special Consensus. Where else can you experience this much bluegrass music for the low, low cost of only $5.00? Students and children get in free! All of this happens in one day.
Next we have the Fall Festival in the Woods event on Saturday, October 13th, the Halloween Trail & Costume Contest on October 25th, Spooktackular Downtown on October 27th, Annual Arts & Crafts Fanfare on November 17th and the Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 7th. I know I left some events out but to find out more check out the Fall 2011 Auburn Hills Review!
Things do not slow down around here. Employees, residents and visitors can count on a schedule full of activities and entertainment year round.
