Got plans for Saturday?

If not and you’re looking for a way to entertain the family, you’re in luck!

The City of Auburn Hills is holding two exciting events this Saturday. The first is Fire Prevention Fun Day. This is a free event open to the community to spread education and awareness on fire safety to families and all people within the community.  The event is being held from 10:00am-2:00pm at ABB Robotics located at 1250 Brown Rd.  There will be fire trucks, smoke house demonstrations, live fire hoses, prizes and games and free food, yes, free food!

Or join us for the second event, the 15th Annual Fall Festival in the Woods. This free event is being held from 11:00am-3:00pm at E. Dale Fisk Hawk Woods Nature Center located at 3799 Bald Mountain Rd. Try some great hands-on nature activities for kids, take a hay ride, pet and feed the farm animals, carve a pumpkin and enjoy live music by Michigan’s own Blue Water Ramblers, free cider and donuts and more! Pumpkins are available on a first come, first serve basis for $4-12 each depending on size. Visit and tour the newly renovated Campground and enter to win a FREE overnight camping stay for up to 6 people in one of the BRAND NEW LOG CABINS!

Why not join us for both! Pack in a lot of fun while enjoying the fall weather. Please contact Jessica Morales at (248) 877-6777 for more information about Fire Prevention Fun Day. Contact the Recreation Department at (248)370-9353 for more information about Fall Festival in the Woods.
